Smart Charging for Off-Grid Power
Featuring Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology, the BCDC1240D Classic charges from both your alternator and solar panels at the same time. With Green Power Priority™, it defaults to solar first, reducing strain on your alternator and improving efficiency.
It’s compatible with both 12V and 24V systems and works with standard and smart alternators, making it the perfect fit for modern 4WDs.
Compatible with Lithium & Other Battery Types
This DC-DC charger includes REDARC’s patented charging profiles, including a lithium profile—ideal for pairing with a REDARC Lithium (LiFePO4) battery. It also supports AGM, GEL, standard lead acid, and calcium batteries, making it a versatile choice for any setup.
For larger battery banks, the BCDC1240D is recommended for:
✔ Lead-acid batteries over 200Ah
✔ Lithium batteries over 100Ah
For smaller setups, the BCDC1225D is a better choice. Always check your battery manufacturer’s specifications to ensure compatibility.
