Winch Fairleads

A fairlead is particularly important to guide and protect your winch line as it is being pulled into the winch. Hawse fairleads are used with synthetic line winches. They are usually made from aluminium and feature rounded edges around the centre opening. The synthetic line slides easily over these rounded edges as it is being spooled into the winch. The thicker aluminium bar results in a larger outer fillet radius for the synthetic rope to slide against. This results in less stress on the rope fibres during high angular pulls, increasing the life of your synthetic rope. Are available in different sizes 1.0 and 1.5 and Offset.
