The MAXTRAX All-Terrain Recovery Shovel is built for that moment: a purpose-built vehicle recovery shovel designed to work the way recoveries actually unfold in the field, on every terrain.

Two configurations. One recovery tool.

Short-handle mode — for working tight around wheels and wheel ruts where control and leverage matter. The compact configuration lets you dig precisely and quickly without fighting the tool in confined spaces.

Extended reach mode — attach the extension pole and the shovel converts into a long-reach recovery tool, clearing sand, mud, and debris from differentials, axles, and belly pans without needing to crawl under a bogged vehicle. Essential for deep sand, mud, and snow recoveries.

The MAXTRAX Recovery Shovel is designed as part of a complete vehicle recovery system, not as a loose tool bouncing around the back of a 4WD. Included mounting brackets, heavy-duty Velcro straps, and a cable lock secure the shovel directly alongside your MAXTRAX MKII or XTREME traction boards, keeping your full recovery kit together, organised, and ready when the track turns against you.
