If you are going to do some serious off-roading in your 4x4 then you need a Carbon Offroad soft shackle, this shackle is a must have part for everyones recovery kit. Carbon Offroad has you covered with their Monkey fist 13000kg Dyneema Soft Shackle which will outlast and outperform its competition.
The Monkey fist has a Dyneema core with a braided sheath for added strength and protection. This soft shackle is stronger and more durable than steel shackles. The 12mm Dyneema is rated at 13 tonnes minimum breaking strain which means its super heavy duty for any recovery pull. This shackle is built for offroad abuse.
The oversized monkey fist knot will ensure that there is no chance of the shackle ever coming apart during a 4x4 recovery. Carbon Offroad Monkey Fist unique braided heavy-duty sheath allows you to go straight through a regular recovery point. Keep in mind that if you have previously used steel shackles make sure your recovery points are in good condition with no sharp burrs as this will damage your new soft shackle purchase. It is also easier to disassemble the soft shackle after load is applied than a bulky steel shackle.
You can use a soft shackle for many different applications for Offroad recovery.

Connecting your vehicle to a snatch strap or kinetic rope
Connecting a tree trunk protector strap to the winch hook
Connecting two straps together to extend your reach.
